Designing Across Reading Levels
Ladders: Social Studies was a 36-book program for grades 3–5, with content adapted across three reading levels. I designed the visual direction for the series, creating a system that could hold together across a large collection of subjects, covers, illustrations, and differentiated content.

As a designer at National Geographic Learning, I worked across cover direction, interior design, typography, illustration direction, and the visual system used throughout the series.
