Structuring a Complex Curriculum
World Cultures & Geography was a large educational publishing program that needed to organize dense geography, history, culture, maps, activities, and assessments into a consistent learning experience.
I helped establish the visual system used across the program, designing page templates, typography, recurring features, iconography, assessments, and unit-level visual themes that could scale across a large volume of educational content.
My Role
As a designer at National Geographic Learning, I worked across concept development and production, building templates and visual standards, planning page systems, collaborating on maps, and providing direction to external production vendors responsible for carrying the system across the program.
